Ingredients
1 (3/4 pound) beef flank steak
2 tablespoons teduced-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 cups broccoli flowerets
Vegetable cooking spray
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger or 1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot
3 tablespoons water
Directions
Trim excess fat from steak, and cut steak into 1/8-inch-thick slices.
Combine steak, soy sauce, and cornstarch, stirring well; set aside.
Cook broccoli in boiling water 2 minutes; drain and set aside.
Coat a wok or large skillet with cooking spray, add oil.
Heat at medium until hot.
Add onion and ginger, stir-fry 30 seconds.
Add reserved steak mixture stir-fry 2 minutes.
Add reserved broccoli and 3 tablespoons water, stir-fry 1 minute.
