Stir N Roll Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
| REGULAR BISCUITS | ||
| All purpose flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salad oil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| BUTTERMILK BISCUITS | ||
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Soda | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Buttermilk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Heat oven to 450°.
Measure dry ingredients into bowl.
Pour oil and milk into measuring cup (do not stir together); pour all at once into flour mixture.
Stir until mixture cleans side of bowl and forms a ball.
To knead dough: turn onto waxed paper, lift paper by one corner and fold dough in half; press down firmly and pull paper back.
Repeat until dough looks smooth.
Pat or roll 1/2 inch thick between 2 sheets of waxed paper.
Cut dough with unfloured biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
