 1/2 lb. fresh snow peas
 Water2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Vegetable oil1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), crushed
 Water chestnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Chicken broth2 Tablespoon

Directions

Soak dried shrimp in 1 cup hot water 10 to 15 minutes.
Drain well, discard water.
Chop softened shrimp into 1/6-inch pieces with a cleaver.
Snap off ends from snow peas; remove strings.
Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a small saucepan.
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt.
To blanch snow peas, submerge 10 seconds in boiling water; drain and rinse with cold water.
Heat oil in a wok over high heat 30 seconds.
Stir-fry garlic and chopped shrimp 30 seconds.
Add water chestnuts and salt.
Stir-fry 1 minute.
Add blanched snow peas and chicken broth.
Stir-fry 10 seconds.
