Stir Fried Shrimp With Green Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound large raw shrimp 25 to 30 per lb., shelled and deveined | ||
| 1 tablespoon rice wine or dry sherry | ||
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salad oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 4 green onions including tops, thinly sliced | ||
| Soy sauce | ||
Directions
In a small bowl, mix shrimp, wine, and cornstarch.
Heat oil in a wok or wide frying pan over high heat.
Add shrimp mixture and cook, stirring, until shrimp turn bright pink 2 to 3 minutes.
Add onions and continue to cook, stirring, until shrimp are just opaque in center; cut to test about 2 more minutes.
Offer soy sauce to add to taste, if desired.
