Stir-Fried Fish With Vegetables Recipe
This is a kick ass recipe for Stir-fried Fish With Vegetables which will knockout anyone who eats it. Excuse my French please. It is an ideal Side Dish. The key ingredient here is Fish. Ingredients
450g cod fillet, skinned and cut into wide strips
1 tspn salt
1 tblspn oil
2 rashers back bacon, shredded
50g cooked peas
50g cooked sweetcorn kernels
6 tblspn Chinese stock or water
2 tspn dry sherry
2 tspn light soy sauce
1 tspn sugar
1 tspn water
1 tspn cornflour
FOR THE GARNISH
Lemon slices
Spring onions
Directions
Sprinkle the fish fillets with the salt and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan over a moderate heat.
Add the fish and bacon and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the cornflour and water, and bring to the boil.
Blend the cornflour with the water to make a thin paste and stir in to the sauce.
Cook for 1 minutes.
