3 cups sliced okra
 
2 cups fresh cut corn
 
4 or 5 large ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
 
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon pepper
 
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)

Directions

Thoroughly rinse okra; drain well.
Combine okra, corn, tomatoes, butter, salt, and pepper in a large skillet; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with bacon, if desired.
