Birria Stew Recipe Video

There are many stew recipes out there these days and I for one have been making a lot of stew recipes lately. I saw my friend Sandy over at: http://www.youtube.com/user/slolita1 make a dish called Birria! Lamb Stew! It looked delicious and I told her that I would like to make it here on my channel as well. So, here I am making it today for you to eat tonight! This stew is delicious and is traditionally made with Lamb but you can use beef, pork, veal, lamb or goat. In my Birria recipe I am using beef and pork. So check it out!

Ingredients

 Beef500 Gram
 Beerwurst500 Gram
 Onion1 1⁄2 , sliced
 Marjoram2 Tablespoon
 Thyme2 Tablspoon
 Rosemary2 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1.Use a steamer basket and place the first layer of beef and pork on it.
2.Add the sliced onions over it and press it down.
3.Sprinkle some dry marjoram, dried thyme, a dash of rosemary and garlic over it.
4.Now place the second layer of meat.
5.Sprinkle all the dried seasoning over it once again and close the lid and let it cook for 90 minutes.
6.Meanwhile in a pot of hot boiling water, put the tomatoes.
7.Put inside the new Mexican chili and the red chili. Let it boil for 15 minutes before blending to make a thick sauce.
8.Heat the stock and now add the blended sauce to the broth and bring it to a boil.
9.Add the meat in it and let it cook for 15 mins.
10.Season it with Worcestershire sauce.

SERVING
11.In a bowl, take some portion of the meat and pour the stock over it. You can serve it with rice and salad.
