Steamed Fish With Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

| Dried mushrooms | 8 | |
| 1/8 pound Smithfield ham, shredded | ||
| Ginger slice | 3 , finely chopped | |
| 1 stalk scallion, sliced fine | ||
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Monosodium glutamate | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Wash and soak the mushrooms in hot water and when soft, stem and cut them into 1/4 inch strips.
Cut the ham into shreds.
Wash the fish and dry it well.
Rub the inside and outside with the oil.
Place on a hot shallow dish and cover the fish with the mushrooms, ham, ginger, scallion, soy sauce, seasonings and the remainder of the oil.
Place a rack in a pan filled up to 2 inches of water.
When the water is boiling furiously, place the fish on the rack and steam for 15 minutes.
Remove from the steamer and serve very hot
