6 pounds asparagus

Directions

Wash and trim asparagus by breaking off tough bottom stems.
Steam over boiling water for about 10 minutes, until asparagus are tender but still crisp.
NOTE TO COOK: Cleaned asparagus and possibly steamer, if hostess doesn't have one, should be carried to party.
Put the water on in the steamer to boil when beef is ready to be cooked.
