1 red chili pepper, thinly sliced
2-3 slices ginger, shredded
2 1/2 tablespoons (37 ml) plum sauce
1 or 2 salted plums, crushed
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
1 1/2 teaspoons (7 ml) dark soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon (3 ml) sugar

1. Coat spareribs with cornstarch and marinate in rib sauce.
