Steamed Roast Pork Buns Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound roast pork, cut into cubes and seasoned with oyster sauce | ||
| Rising flour | 5 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup fine sugar | ||
| Baking powder | 4 Teaspoon | |
| White vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lard | 3/8 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cold water | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, vinegar, lard and water to form soft dough.
Knead 10 minutes.
Cut into strips.
Roll like sausages 1 1/2 inches wide in diameter.
Break off small pieces of dough the size of a walnut.
Flatten each piece.
Fill with seasoned meat.
Form into dumplings.
Place each on a small square of waxed paper.
Put 1 inch apart in steamer.
Steam over rapidly boiling water 20 minutes.
Serve hot.
