Steamed Quail Recipe

 4 whole quail
 All purpose flour1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon
 Butter1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Following manufacturer's directions, preheat browning skillet 4 to 5 minutes.
Split quail down back and flatten.
Combine flour, salt, and pepper.
Lightly flour quail.
Place butter in browning skillet.
Arrange quail in preheated browning skillet.
Microwave at HIGH 1 minute per side.
Cover with lid.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH 8 to 12 minutes or until juices run clear.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
