Steamed Mussels With Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry white wine | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 pounds mussels, washed, beards removed | ||
Directions
In a large saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter until golden.
Pour in wine; add mussels, and bring liquid to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat, cover, and steam mussels approximately 7 minutes, shaking pan once or twice, until shells have opened.
