1 1/2-2 pounds green beans, topped and tailed
 
Lemon quarters
 
Olive oil
 
Salt and fresh pepper to taste

Directions

Place water in large saucepan (2-3 inches deep in 2-quart saucepan) and insert collapsible steamer in place.
Put beans in steamer.
Put on lid and bring to a boil.
Steam 5-7 minutes, until tender-crisp.
