Ingredients

 
1 cup rice
 
2 cups cold water
 
1 teaspoon butter
 
1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Wash rice very thoroughly.
Place in a saucepan, add water, salt and butter.
Cover.
When it starts to steam, stir with a fork, cover and turn heat very low, or off, and steam without removing the cover for 20 to 25 minutes.
