Steamed Dandelion Greens Recipe

Ingredients
2 bunchesDandelion Greens, trimmed and washed well
2 tsp (10 ml) olive oil
1/4 cup (60 ml) low-sodium chicken or beef broth
1 tbs (15 ml) Fresh Basil, chopped salt, to taste pepper, to taste
ITALIAN-STYLE GREENS:
1/2 lb (230 g) Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
Directions
Trim off bottom third of stems; wash leaves and remaining stems well.
Chop into bite-size pieces.
In a large saucepan or skillet, heat oil.
Add chopped greens, broth and basil.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
