Steamed Clams Recipe
Ingredients
| Clams- 24nos, Cherrystone or Little Neck | ||
| Soy sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sherry | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ginger root | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Sesame or Peanut Oil- 1 teaspoon | ||
| Scallions | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Clean the clams by scrubbing them, and wash.
2) In a saucepan, combine the clams with soy sauce and sherry.
3) Cover and cook until clams open.
4) Add the ginger and oil, cook for 1 minute and remove.
SERVING
5) Serve the Steamed Clams, steaming hot along with the cooking liquid, garnished with scallions.
