Ingredients

 1 head broccoli (about 1 1/2-2 pounds): cut off bottom third of stalk; peel and slice cut-off stalk and discard; peel remaining stalks of leaves and cut into 3 lengthwise pieces
 Lemon1 , quartered

Directions

Place broccoli with 1 inch of water in a large stockpot and bring water to a boil over high heat.
Cover and reduce heat to medium.
Steam for about 5-6 minutes, or until al dente.
