Ingredients
| Apples | 4 Large, peeled | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon peel | 1/2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |

| Half-and-half (light cream) | ||
Directions
Mix apples, lemon juice, lemon peel, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in an 8 or 9-inch round baking dish.
Place dish on rack in wok over 1 1/2 to 2 inches boiling water.
Cover wok and steam until apples are tender (18 to 20 minutes).
Using a large spoon, drop 6 dumplings on top of fruit, making a circle around edge of dish.
Cover wok and steam for 15 minutes.
Remove from wok and let stand for 5 minutes.
Serve warm or cold with cream to pour over.
