Steak In Tomato Cream Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 finely chopped large shallot | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Boneless rib steak | 11/2 Pound, cut into thin strips | |
| Creme fraiche | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato Paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tsp mild mustard | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Cognac | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
Put the shallot and butter in a bowl and microwave, uncovered, for 3 minutes on HIGH.
Heat a browning dish in the microwave oven for 6-8 minutes, following the manufacturer's instructions.
When the browning dish is hot, put in the strips of steak, leave for 30-40 seconds, then turn over with a spatula.
Microwave, uncovered, for 2 minutes on HIGH.
Stir the shallots and add the sour cream (creme fraiche), tomato paste (puree), sugar and mustard.
Mix well.
