Steak With Red Wine And Tarragon Recipe

I had quite forgotton about the Steak With Red Wine And Tarragon recipe until I was flipping through my recipe book and now that I have, it gets back the top position it always deserved. Steak With Red Wine And Tarragon is one absolutely tasty dish. Start away immediately!

Ingredients

 
6 1/2 pound steaks
 
4 tablespoons butter
 
6 tablespoons fresh tarragon, chopped
 
1 1/2 cup red wine
 
3 tablespoons flour

Directions

1) Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan. Place steaks in butter and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Remove.
2) Place the tarragon and red wine in the same pan and simmer for 3 minutes.
3) In a different pan, melt the remaining butter. Stir in the flour, and then slowly pour in the wine with tarragon. Stir until rich and creamy, and pour over the steaks.
