1/3 cup minced green pepper
 
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
 
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce with mushrooms
 
1 package brown gravy mix
 
1 tablespoon dry white wine or vermouth, if desired

Directions

Cook green pepper in butter 3 to 5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce with mushrooms and gravy mix; cook, stirring, until hot and thickened.
Add wine; blend.
Keep hot.
