Steak Pasta Casserole Recipe
How is it that you still haven't tried my recipe for steak pasta casserole. Stock up on more and more beef as you will want to make this steak pasta casserole time and again. Ingredients
2 pounds sirloin tip or round steak
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup butter
1 can (3 ounces) sliced mushrooms
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cups cooked noodles
1 teaspoon salt
Dash freshly ground pepper
1 cup light cream or top milk
1 cup croutons
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cut meat into cubes and cook meat and onion in 2 tablespoons butter until lightly browned.
Add mushroom liquid, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
Discard bay leaf.
Add noodles, cream and remaining butter and pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Sprinkle top with croutons and cheese.
Bake in a 325° F.oven for 45 minutes.
Add mushroom liquid, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
