Ingredients
| 1 1/2 to 2 pounds beef round steak, cut in serving-size pieces | ||
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Condensed cream of mushroom soup | 1 10 1/2 Ounce | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 3 1/2-ounce jar cocktail onions | ||
| Snipped parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In skillet, brown meat slowly on both sides in hot shortening.
Drain off excess fat.
Combine soup, water, and onions with liquid; pour over meat.
Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours or till tender.
Sprinkle with parsley.
