Sri Lankan Consomme Recipe
Sri Lankan Consomme is a sweet combo of tart apples, onions, celery leaves in cream. And ofcourse meat consomme, the most important part of the recipe can never be ignored. Try out the Sri Lankan Consomme and serve hot to your guests.
Ingredients
| 3 cups diced tart apples | ||
| Onion | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| 1 cup chopped celery leaves | ||
| Unsalted butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Curry powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 cups Beef Consomme | ||
| Half and Half | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Saute apples, onion and celery leaves in butter 10 minutes; do not brown.
Sprinkle with curry and cook, stirring, 3 minutes.
Add the consomme, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
Strain and adjust seasonings.
Add cream and reheat.
