Sri Lanka Ground Beef Curry Recipe

| Onions | 2 Medium, chopped | |
| Potatoes | 2 Medium, diced | |
| Green pepper | 1 , chopped | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shredded coconut | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato Paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 thin slices ginger root | ||
| Cinnamon stick | 1 | |
| Whole clove | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cardamom | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Hot cooked rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Cook and stir beef, onions, potatoes and green pepper in oil in 1/2-inch skillet over medium heat until beef is brown; drain.
Stir in remaining ingredients except rice and chutney.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered until vegetables are tender and mixture is desired consistency, 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove ginger root, cinnamon and clove
