Directions

Place sliced squash and water in a 1 1/2- to 2-quart casserole.
Cover.
Microwave at HIGH 16 minutes or until tender.
Stir squash once after 8 minutes.
Allow squash to stand while combining remaining ingredients.
Blend together egg, milk, butter, stuffing mix, onion, salt, and pepper.
Mash squash.
Stir into bread stuffing mixture.
Microwave at HIGH, uncovered, 8 minutes.
For Topping, combine crushed stuffing mix, wheat germ, and butter.
Stir casserole.
Sprinkle on the topping mixture.
Microwave at HIGH 5 minutes.
Allow 5 minutes standing time before serving.
