Spring Onion Curry Recipe
Ingredients
| 375 gms. meat or vegetable koftas | ||
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Turmeric powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ghee | 10 Tablespoon | |
| 2 onions, chopped fine | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| 4 spring onions, chopped fine | ||
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm) (Grind to a paste:) | |
| Spring onion leaves | 4 (Grind to a paste:) | |
| Ginger | 1 1/2 (Grind to a paste:) | |
| Green chilli | 1 (Grind to a paste:) | |
| 1 big cardamom | ||
| Coriander leaves | 4 (Grind to a paste:) | |
| Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon (Grind to a paste:) | |
Directions
Make the koftas as directed, and fry them in the ghee.
Drain the koftas and, use the same ghee to brown the onions.
Reduce the heat and add half a cup of water, turmeric and salt.
Keep stirring till the curry thickens and the ghee rises to the surface.
Remove from the fire and mash or grind the onions.
Return to the fire and add the paste with one and a half cups of water.
Stir for three or four minutes and simmer till it acquires the right thickness; add more water if necessary.
Add the koftas and remove from the fire.
