Spoon Bread, Georgia Style Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup yellow cornmeal
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup grated sharp cheese
1 can (17 oz.) cream-style corn
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or butter
1 cup buttermilk
1 to 2 green chili peppers, seeded and diced
Directions
Mix all ingredients well.
Pour into greased and floured bread 'n cake bake pan; cover.
Place in crock pot.
Cover and bake on high setting for 2 to 31/2 hours.
Do not unmold.
