Spoon Bread Recipe

Ingredients
Milk-3 cups
White cornmeal-1 cup
Butter-1 teaspoon, melted
Sugar-1 teaspoon
Salt-1 teaspoon
Eggs-3, separated
Directions
MAKING
1)On a double boiler, scald milk and add cornmeal gradually.
2)Cook for 5 minutes until smooth, stirring constantly.
3)Let it cool a bit and then add butter, sugar and salt.
4)In a bowl, beat egg yolks until thick and lemony.
5)In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
6)Mix the egg yolks to cornmeal mixture well and then add egg whites.
7)Take a greased baking dish and pour the batter.
8)Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
SERVING
9)Serve the spoon bread immediately.
