Spinach-Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

 
12 large mushrooms
 
1 small onion, chopped
 
2 tablespoons butter
 
1 package frozen chopped spinach
 
1 beaten egg
 
Salt to taste
 
Pepper to taste
 
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Directions

Remove stems from mushrooms; chop finely.
Saute with onion in melted butter.
Cook spinach according to package di rections; drain well.
Add sauted mushroom stems, onion, and egg; stir.
Season with salt and pepper.
Stuff mushroom caps.
Place into casserole; sprinkle crumbs on top.
Place into toaster oven; top brown until bubbly.
