Directions
1 Pick and wash the chana dal.
2 In a bowl, soak the dal in water for 15 minutes.
3 Wash the spinach and chop.
MAKING
4 In a pan, cook spinach and dal together until tender.
5 In another pan, heat the ghee.
6 Add in ginger with salt, red chilli powder and chopped tomato.
7 Add in chana dal and spinach and cook until dry.
SERVING
8 Serve hot at lunch or dinner.
