Spinach Stir Fry With Shiitake And Honey Recipe
Ingredients
| Groundnut oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 350 g/12 oz shiitake mushrooms, sliced | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| 350 g/12 oz baby leaf spinach | ||
| Dry sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Clear honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Scallions spring | 4 , sliced | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a large preheated wok, heat the groundnut oil and stir-fry the shiitake mushrooms for about 5 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender.
2) Stir in the crushed garlic and baby leaf spinach and stir-fry for a further 2-3 minutes, or until the spinach has just wilted.
3) In a small bowl, combine the dry sherry and clear honey, then sprinkle the mixture over the spinach and heat thoroughly.
SERVING
4) Spoon the stir-fry in the warm serving dishes, garnish with the spring onions and serve immediately.
