Spinach Soup With Garlic Recipe

Ingredients

 
5 cloves garlic, crushed
 
6 rashers bacon, chopped
 
1.2 litres skimmed chicken stock
 
500g cooked spinach
 
125ml soured cream
 
1/2 tspn nutmeg

Directions

Place garlic and bacon in a large saucepan, cook over low heat 5 minutes.
Add stock, bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes; add spinach, simmer for a further 10 minutes.
Process mixture until smooth, add soured cream and nutmeg.
