Spinach Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean Beef with Bones- 1 1/2 pounds | ||
| Water | 6 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Potatoes | 6 Medium, cubed | |
| Onions | 3 | |
| Fresh Spinach- 1 1/2 pounds, washed and coarsely chopped | ||
| Tomatoes | 4 | |
| Nutmeg- to taste | ||
| Black pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a slow cooker, place together beef, water, salt, potatoes and onions.
2) Put the lid on and simmer for 8 hours.
3) Stir in the spinach and tomatoes, just 10 minutes before the cooking ends.
FINALIZING
4) Take the beef out of the soup and cut it into 1 inch cubes.
5) Place the beef back in the soup.
6) Stir in nutmeg, pepper and salt if desired.
SERVING
7) Serve the soup hot and sprinkle parsley if desired.
