Spinach Rockefeller Recipe

Spinach rockefeller is a marvelous item to prepare for family meals. A good way to use up vegetable is to make some irresistible spinach rockefeller. It is the answer when you look for a tasty side dish. Am sure you have had a lot of recipes passed on to you by aunts, mom, grandparents, friends, etc. It is time you pay them back by making and then sharing this wonderful spinach rockefeller.

Ingredients

 
1 pound fresh spinach or 2 packages frozen chopped spinach
 
1/2 cup butter
 
3/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
 
2 onions, finely chopped
 
2 eggs
 
Pinch of thyme
 
2 pinches of Accent
 
1 teaspoon garlic powder
 
Dash of Tabasco
 
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
 
Salt to taste
 
Tomato slices, 1/2 inch thick

Directions

Cook spinach and drain well.
Add the rest of the ingredients except tomato slices and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
Ten minutes before the spinach is done, put tomato slices in flat pan in same oven.
This heats them thoroughly but does not cook them enough to cause them to fall apart.
