Ingredients

 Ground veal or beef - 1 lb.
 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 Tomato sauce - 1 - 8 oz, can
 Basil1 Teaspoon
 Parsley1 Teaspoon
 Oregano1/4 Teaspoon
 Mozzarella cheese4 Ounce
 Garlic salt - according to taste
 Pepper1 To taste
 Mushrooms - 1 - 4 oz. can, drained
 Frozen spinach or fresh - 1-10 oz. pkg., thawed and chopped
 Cottage cheese6 Ounce

Directions

GETTING READY
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

MAKING
2.In a saucepan, saute the onion.
3. Add in the ground meat and saute.
4. Now add in garlic salt, pepper, mushrooms, oregano, tomato sauce, basil and parsley.
5.In a mixing bowl, mix together cottage cheese and liquid obtained from squeezing spinach.
6.Take a 7X11 baking dish an dlaer with spinach mixture.
7. Follow this with meat mixture layer and a mozzarrella cheese layer.
8.Layer again and finally end with the hard cheese layer.
9.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese melts and becomes bubbly and hot.

SERVING
10. Serve as desired.
