1 (9-ounce) package fresh spinach fettuccine
 
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
 
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed (optional)
 
Salt and pepper

Directions

Cook fettuccine in lightly salted boiling water according to package directions (about 5 minutes); drain.
Combine fettuccine, butter and basil in serving bowl; toss lightly to coat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
