Spinach And Potato Bake Recipe
Ingredients
| Spinach : 1/2 kg chopped fine and boiled | ||
| Potatoes : 1/4 kg boiled and mashed fine | ||
| Paneer : 1/4 kg cut into thin square slices | ||
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon (For white sauce) | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For white sauce) | |
| Maida | 2 Tablespoon (For white sauce) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
1. In a casserole set the spinach mixed with half of the white sauce, salt and pepper to taste and 1/2 tsp mustard.
2. Cover with paneer slices.
3. The last layer consists of the mashed potatoes mixed with the rest of white sauce, salt and pepper and 1 tbsp grated cheese. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake in moderate oven for 1/2 hour till evenly golden brown on top. The middle layer of paneer can be replaced by boiled macroni.
