Spinach Bacon Pesto Recipe
Ingredients
| Spinach leaves - 4 cups firmly packed, trimmed, thoroughly washed, and drained | ||
| Walnuts - 1 ounce shelled | ||
| Crisp bacon - 4 slices | ||
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon, squeezed | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic - 1 small clove | ||
| Lemon peel | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Basil leaves | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Parmesan cheese | 4 Ounce, grated | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) In the work bowl of food processor, add all ingredients except cheese.
2) Process the ingredients to a smooth mixture. Scrape down the sides whenever necessary.
3) In a bowl, transfer the mixture.
4) Add cheese and stir in.
5) Place inside refrigerator by covering with plastic wrap until it is time to serve.
SERVING
6) Bring the pesto to a room temperature, while serving.
