 Evaporated milk1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (soured with vinegar)
 Vinegar1 Teaspoon

Directions

Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add the syrup and cream some more.
Add the dry ingredients, sifted together and mix with the milk.
Add a little more flour if you want to use a cookie press.
Otherwise put the dough through your mincing machine, to which is attached a cookie attachment.
Bake at 400° F - not too brown.
When cold, sandwich together with caramel condensed milk.
These biscuits will soften a little by the next day, but will keep well for quite some time.
