Spicy Spare Rib Chops Recipe
The Spicy Spare Rib Chops is a wonderful pork preparation that I am personally crazy about. I never get tired of this wonderful dish no matter how many times I have prepared it. Nor does my husband! Try this original Spicy Spare Rib Chops recipe for yourself!
Ingredients
3/4 lb country style pork ribs
Salt
1 onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 x 8 oz can tomatoes
1 teaspoon paprika pepper
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2/3 cup hard cider
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Place the pork in the bottom of a greased 1.2 litre/2 pint (5 cup) casserole dish.
Sprinkle with salt and cook, uncovered, in a preheated moderately hot oven (200°C/400°F, Gas Mark 6) for 15 minutes.
Place the onion over the pork and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
Combine the garlic, tomatoes, paprika pepper, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar, cider and salt and pepper to taste, then pour over the pork and onions.
Cover and continue to cook for 45 minutes or until the pork is tender.
Serve with jacket potatoes and a green vegetable.
