Spicy Snapper Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds snapper or other fish fillets, fresh or frozen
2/3 cup tomato juice
3 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 (5/8 ounce) envelope old fashioned French-dressing mix
Directions
Thaw frozen fillets.
Skin fillets; cut into serving-size portions.
Place in single layer in shallow baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
Pour sauce over fish; let stand 30 minutes, turning once.
Remove fish; reserve sauce for basting.
Place fish on well-greased broiler pan.
Broil about 4 inches from source of heat 4 to 5 minutes.
Turn carefully; brush with sauce.
Broil 4 to 5 minutes, until fish flakes easily
