Spicy Pork And Bean Casserole Recipe
|Pork cubes||15 Ounce (1 Inch Cubes)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Diced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Green bell pepper||1 Medium, seeded and cut into 1-inch squares|
|Chili powder||4 Tablespoon|

|Ground red pepper||1 Dash|
|Canned cannellini beans||8 Ounce, drained (Or White Kidney Beans)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||2 Ounce, coarsely shredded|

In 1 1/2-quart saucepan heat oil; add onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent.
Stir in pork cubes, green pepper, chili powder, and cumin; add tomato sauce, water, salt, and red pepper and stir to combine.
Cover and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until pork is fork-tender, about 45 minutes.
Add beans and let simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes longer.
Transfer pork mixture to 1 1/2-quart flameproof casserole; sprinkle with cheese and broil until cheese is bubbly, about 3 minutes.
