Spicy Pecan Pie Recipe

3 eggs, beaten
 
1 cup light corn syrup
 
3/4 cup sugar
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 
1 cup chopped pecans
 
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
 
1/2 cup pecan halves Whipped cream

Directions

Combine first 9 ingredients; beat with an electric mixer until blended.
Stir in chopped pecans.
Pour mixture into pastry shell; arrange pecan halves on top.
Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream.
