Spicy Peach Cobbler Recipe
|Canned peach slices||29 Ounce, drained, 1 cup syrup reserved (1 Can)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Cider vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Biscuit mix||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shredded sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|

Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, and cloves in a saucepan; stir in the reserved peach syrup, vinegar, and 1 tablespoon butter.
Bring mixture to boiling, stirring frequently; cook until clear and thickened.
Pour over peaches and set in a 400Â°F oven.
Combine biscuit mix and cheese and mix thoroughly.
Stir in melted butter and milk to form a soft dough.
Remove baking dish from oven and drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto peaches.
Return to oven and bake 20 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
