Spicy Mulled Wine Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 bottles (750 mL each) medium dry red wine 2
 
1 bottle (750 mL) dry sherry 1
 
12 whole cloves 12
 
2 cinnamon sticks 2
 
2 oranges, sliced 2
 
2/3 cups liquid honey 150 mL

Directions

In large non aluminum saucepan, combine wine, sherry, cloves, cinnamon and orange slices.
Heat over medium high heat until steaming (do not boil).
Reduce heat to medium low; heat, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Add honey to taste.
Serve in heatproof glasses.
