Spicy Meatballs Recipe
The smell of this Spicy Meatballs recipe will draw your husband to the kitchen. Even though Spicy Meatballs is a Side Dish I relish it any time of the day. It is always prepared with Beef as the most essential ingredient. Just try this dish and see how you get hooked to it!
Ingredients
3 pounds lean ground beef
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 eggs
3/4 cup chopped Spanish onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder, or 2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 cups ketchup
1 cup packed brown sugar
Directions
Combine the ground beef, evaporated milk, rolled oats, graham cracker crumbs, eggs, 1/2 cup of the chopped onion, half the garlic powder, salt, pepper and chili powder in a large bowl and mix well.
Shape into 2-inch balls.
Arrange so that sides are not touching in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Pour a mixture of the ketchup, brown sugar, the remaining garlic and the remaining 1/4 cup chopped onion over the meatballs.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
