 Ground lamb1 1/4 Pound
 Onion1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 1 clove garlic, minced or put through press
 28 ounce can no salt added plum tomatoes, drained
 Ground cumin3/4 Teaspoon
 Cayenne1/8 Teaspoon
 Ground black pepper To Taste
 4 whole wheat pitas

Directions

Brown lamb in its own fat and cook until it releases most of its fat.
Pour off as much fat as possible and add the onion and garlic.
Saute until onion is soft.
