Spicy Ground Beef Recipe

Ingredients
2 finely chopped large onions
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 red bell peppers,rinsed, seeded and diced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/4 lb diced potatoes
Salt
1 1/2 lb ground (minced) beef
7 oz tomato sauce in a can
3 tbsp white wine
2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Tabasco sauce
2 oz grated Gruyere cheese
Several lettuce leaves
Directions
Put the onions, garlic and bell peppers in a large casserole.
Pour over the olive oil.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.
Add the potatoes to the casserole.
Add salt and stir well.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes.
Place the ground (minced) beef in the casserole.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes, stirring carefully midway through the cooking time.
Mix together the tomato sauce, white wine, chili powder, cumin and several dashes of tabasco sauce.
Pour over the contents of the casserole and stir thoroughly.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.
Add the grated cheese, stir and leave to stand for 3 minutes.
